A LITTLE MORE KNOW-HOW.
A YouTube scheduler for faceless channels
Schedule finished faceless YouTube videos and Shorts with reviewed titles, channel choices and timing. Compare plans, AI workflows and publishing safeguards.

SocialRoster is a YouTube scheduling workspace for faceless creators. Bring finished videos, prepare the copy, select the channel and visibility, and review a publishing queue. YouTube Starter supports up to 2 connected channels; YouTube Pro supports up to 6. SocialRoster does not create the video, clone a voice, edit a timeline or promise that a channel will grow.
What a faceless YouTube workflow needs
A faceless YouTube workflow needs finished videos, reviewed metadata, an identified channel and a checked publishing queue.
Faceless describes the presentation, not a particular production tool. A tutorial can use a screen recording, an explainer can use narrated diagrams, and a story can use licensed footage without the creator appearing on camera. The scheduling job begins after the final export exists. Keep the script, source rights, final file and intended channel together so a similar filename does not send the wrong episode to the wrong audience.
Separate three decisions: what to make, when to attempt the upload, and whether the resulting video is ready to be public. SocialRoster handles the reviewed queue; your editor and AI tools handle production, while YouTube Studio remains the place for native audience, playlist, thumbnail and release controls that SocialRoster does not expose.
A concrete five-video publishing handoff
Hand off five finished videos by matching each file to its approved copy, channel, visibility and future publishing time.
- Finish five videos in your chosen editor. Give each export an episode-specific filename and keep an independent backup of the video and its source assets.
- Create a small manifest with filename, channel, title, description, disclosure decision, visibility, timezone and intended date. This is your editorial record, not an automatic import format.
- Import the five finished files into Content Library. It holds up to 50 local videos total, so existing files count toward capacity. The per-file upload limit is 1 GiB.
- Choose the intended YouTube channel and review each post. New posts default to Public; choose Unlisted or Private deliberately when appropriate. The same content going to a different channel should have its own reviewed destination entry.
- Set individual times or an interval. Preview the first and last dates and check your existing calendar. A recurring editorial slot in your manifest does not create a recurring publishing job.
- Save, reconcile accepted posts and failures, then inspect the first publishing result. Check the actual video in YouTube Studio before assuming it is publicly available.
Use ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Muse or another AI in the production step
Use your chosen AI tools for production, then bring finished files and reviewed copy to SocialRoster for scheduling.
You do not have to change your creative stack. Use ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Muse for the parts your chosen tool supports, then bring the finished video and reviewed copy into SocialRoster. Supported exported files are the common handoff; this does not require SocialRoster to run that model or include its subscription.
For direct queue control, a compatible assistant can connect to the SocialRoster remote MCP server using OAuth. Start by reading accounts and drafts, then request a schedule preview. Availability depends on the assistant, its plan and administrator settings. An assistant without that connector can still help plan the content while you schedule in the web app.
Shorts, long-form videos and visibility
SocialRoster schedules YouTube uploads, while YouTube determines Shorts classification and actual public availability.
SocialRoster queues finished YouTube uploads; YouTube determines whether an eligible upload is a Short. Use the Shorts preparation guide for the current format and duration rules. Choosing a scheduler does not convert a horizontal video, clear music rights or guarantee monetization.
Public, Unlisted and Private are selectable per post. Existing posts without an explicit choice retain their previous channel default. The queue time starts an upload attempt, not a guaranteed public-release time: upload duration, YouTube processing, quotas and account restrictions can intervene. Use YouTube Studio for native timed release and settings absent from SocialRoster.
The current upload path declares videos not made for kids and has no per-post audience selector. Use YouTube Studio instead for made-for-kids content. Review AI-disclosure requirements for realistic altered or synthetic material; a faceless presentation alone does not decide whether a disclosure is required.
Plans and practical limits
SocialRoster offers Starter for up to two channels and Pro for up to six, with fair-use and YouTube limits applying to both.
YouTube Starter is $19.99 USD/month for up to 2 channels. YouTube Pro is $29.99 USD/month for up to 6. Eligible new website subscribers get a 3-day trial after card-required checkout. The selected plan renews automatically until canceled; cancel through Manage billing before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.
Both plans have no SocialRoster monthly scheduling-count cap, within fair use: a 50 GiB scheduled queue safety limit, 1 GiB per file and YouTube channel/API quotas. The local library holds 50 videos; direct MCP URL imports are limited to 200 MiB. These are separate limits, not a promise of unlimited uploads per day.
For the channel allowance that fits this workflow, compare SocialRoster pricing for 2 or 6 YouTube channels before starting a trial. The 3-day trial requires a card and renews at your chosen plan’s monthly price unless canceled.
Choose this workflow for the right reason
Choose SocialRoster when you already have finished videos and need a reviewable publishing queue.
SocialRoster fits creators who already produce videos and want a reviewable multi-channel queue. Choose an editor or generator for unfinished videos, and use YouTube Studio for unsupported native controls. Start with a small verified batch rather than treating an assistant message or a calendar row as proof of successful publication.
Questions
- Does SocialRoster make faceless YouTube videos?
- No. It schedules finished videos. Create and edit them using your own tools, then import a supported export and review its channel, copy and timing.
- Can I schedule videos made with any AI tool?
- You can bring supported finished video files and reviewed copy from your preferred AI workflow. Direct assistant control is a separate capability that requires a compatible remote MCP/OAuth client.
- Can one account manage several faceless channels?
- Yes. YouTube Starter allows up to 2 connected channels and YouTube Pro up to 6. Check the exact channel on each post before scheduling.
- Does automated scheduling guarantee views or income?
- No. Scheduling does not guarantee reach, monetization, copyright clearance or an exact public-release time.
